(JP asked to make words on the computer)
JP: I’ll spell the words. Hey I have an idea.
Mom: What’s that?
JP: To watch a video.
Mom: I thought you wanted to make words on the computer.
JP: How about we watch Superman Returns.
Mom: Well, we had to do some work before you could watch you movie remember.
JP: Oh yes.
Mom: What did we do?
JP: Well, we watched Superman returns in the next morning.
Mom: No I mean…before you watch a movie, mommy told you that you had to do something. What was that?
JP: Oh, that was. How about we talk about Sing a long songs (Disney songs movie).
Mom: No, first lets talk about the words you just practice writing.
JP: I write some animals words. I write bear, cat, elephant, pig, dog, and elephant too and cat too.
Mom: Good job remembering all of the animals! Which animal word was the hardest to write?
JP: My favorite… hardest… was so I can dress up as Superman.
Mom: Yes, you can put your Superman costume on but remember first we had to write words. Which animal word was the hardest for you to write?
JP: My favorite from writing…from….from..
Mom: Was elephant hard to write.
JP: Oh yes! Tomorrow I’m going to write Superman.
Mom: Okay…I’ll tell you what tomorrow we will write names from our movies during writing time.
JP: Oh…that’s a wonderful idea. If we could dress up like a Superman we could rescue Jonathan anytime at Chuck E Cheeses.
Mom: That would nice. I think Jonathan would love being saved by a superhero!
JP: Oh he could hold on to my cape on my back. But I’ll go get my Superman costume. I’ll be right back! (and he’s gone)
